Tatum started judo at the age of six years old at Bath University and moved to Bradley Stoke Judo club at the age of ten. Ever since then Tatum has been devoted to training and excelling at the sport that she loves.
Achievements and Highlights:
- Represented GB at the European Youth Olympics and achieved 5th Place
- Chosen to be GB Flag Bearer at the Youth Olympics opening ceremony
- Female Cadet Judo Athlete of the Year 2019
- Female Junior Athlete of the Year 2021 and 2022
- Bath Young Sports Personality of the Year 2018
- Competed in the World and European championships 2021 and 2022
- 5th place at European championships 2022
- 5th at U23 European championships 2023
- 3rd at Tunisia African open 2024
- 2nd at Latvia European Cup 2024
- Currently 132nd in the World
"Judo has taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of continuous improvement," says Tatum.
Training Regimen and Techniques: Tatum trains five days a week, focusing on both physical conditioning and technical skills.
Future Goals:
- Tatum aims to represent GB in the Olympic and secure a medal
- Achieve top five in the IJF World Circuit
- Become World and European Champion
